What is a transfer key?
A transfer key is an authorization code to change the website from one hosting party to another. When we put a website live, the domain needs to be transferred to our hosting party. Don't worry, you will still own the domain! We transfer the domain to us in order to set up everything correctly for the website. It is good to know that when a domain is transferred, all previous data will be lost. (Think of email addresses and any website the domain was showing before) If you need mail addresses connected to the domain, feel free to send an email to support@cashdesk.nl. We will create them for you.
How do I obtain a transfer key?
Sometimes it can be a bit tricky to obtain the transfer key. The reason why it might be tricky is that it is different for each hosting party. For this reason, we advise contacting the previous hosting party of your domain with the question if you can get the transfer key. When you have the transfer key, please send it to support@cashdesk.nl.
