Store Customization – Functions and Configuration Guide

The Store Customization section allows you to personalize the visual identity and customer-facing information of your store. These settings directly affect printed receipts, customer communication, order lists, and branding visibility across the POS system.

This page is essential for ensuring that your store’s branding is consistent and recognizable to customers, delivery partners, and staff.

1. Product Line

Example: Delivery Restaurant of the Future

The product line identifies the general category or operational model of your restaurant.
This value is typically chosen during onboarding and may influence default layouts or system behavior in certain modules.

Common examples include:

  • Delivery Restaurant

  • Takeaway

  • Eat-in / Full-service Restaurant

  • Hybrid Concepts

If you wish to change your product line, consult with the support or onboarding team to ensure your system remains properly configured.

2. Logos

Three different logo placements can be uploaded in this section. Each serves a unique purpose in the system.

2.1 Logo for All Destinations

This logo is used in most areas of the platform, except for:

  • The customer receipt

  • The provider icon on order sources

It appears in:

  • Reports

  • Exports

  • Back office pages

  • POS interface components

  • Internal documentation modules

Use your primary brand logo here for consistent visual identification.

2.2 Receipt Logo (Ontvangst)

This logo is printed on all customer receipts.

This logo can differ from the main logo, for example:

  • A simplified version for small receipt printers

  • A monochrome version

  • A more compact layout

Using a clean and optimized version ensures readability on thermal receipts.

2.3 Provider Icon (Aanbieder icoon)

This logo is shown in the order list whenever the source of an order is your own website.

This helps staff quickly recognize:

  • Whether an order comes from your website

  • Whether it originates from external platforms

The icon should be:

  • Small

  • Square or near-square

  • Visually recognizable even at reduced size

3. Telephone Number

Example: 02365489

The telephone number shown here is displayed in various customer-facing and internal locations, such as:

  • Customer receipts

  • Order confirmations

  • Printed kitchen and delivery slips

  • Website integrations (depending on configuration)

Ensure this is a valid, reachable number for customer support or order inquiries.

4. Website

Example: www.restaurant.nl

Your website URL is used in:

  • Receipts

  • Customer receipts and notifications

  • Automatic customer messages (if enabled)

  • Integrations with online platforms

This is also commonly used to encourage customers to place orders directly on your own website instead of external delivery platforms.

5. Extra Text on Customer Receipts

Example:
“Order directly on our website and receive free sides!”

This optional text is printed on every customer receipt.
It is frequently used for:

  • Promotions

  • Loyalty messages

  • Website marketing

  • Upcoming events or specials

  • Encouraging customers to switch to direct ordering channels

This feature is a powerful low-cost marketing tool, as every printed receipt becomes a communication channel.

Tip: Keep the message short and attention-grabbing for best results.
