Setting Up Coupons & Loyalty Cards

With the coupon system, you can easily create promotions and loyalty rewards to reward your customers. The system is flexible and supports multiple types of coupon actions.

Types of coupon actions you can create

When creating a coupon, you can choose from the following options:

1. Discount based on percentage

• Example: 10% off the total order

• Ideal for general promotions or returning customers

2. Discount based on a fixed amount

• Example: €5 discount on an order

• Clear and easy for customers to understand

3. Free product

• Example: free roll or free pizza

• The product is automatically added to the shopping cart

4. Free product of choice within a product group

• The customer can choose a free item from a predefined product group

• Example: choose one free drink or choose one free side

Creating a coupon (step by step)

1. Go to ssc2

2. Navigate to Coupon

3. Click Add a free product

4. Create a coupon code with a clear and relevant name
   (for example: LOYALTY10 or FREE_PIZZA)

5. Select the free product or product group

6. Enter the text that will appear in the shopping cart

   • Example: Free roll

   • Or: Free pizza with a full loyalty card

Linking a coupon to a loyalty card (loyalty plan)

After creating the coupon, you can link it to a loyalty card / loyalty plan.

Within the loyalty plan, you can fully define your own rules, such as:

• How many points a customer earns

• Whether points are awarded:

  • per order

  • based on order value

• After how many orders or points the loyalty card is completed

• Which coupon is triggered when the card is full

Once the loyalty card is completed:
