How to solve print tool update not continuing?

After an update of the print tool it could be it can't load the update due to the print tool still being active. You will see this message:

To solve this, follow the steps below:

  1. Open the hidden icons:
  2. Open the properties, by right-clicking on this icon:
  3. Now select exit
  4. Now go back to the message from the first photo, and press OK.
  5. The update should now install without problems.
