How do I set a product or choice to sold out?

This article explains how to set a product as sold out, so customers can see that the product is sold out on the website and cannot order the product or choice

  • Step 1: Go to portal.app.cashdesk.nl and login.
  • Step 2: In the portal, select "Menus"


  • Step 3: Select your menu



  • Step 4: Now you are in the menu editor, in here you can choose a product or product group and click on the button "Sold out"


If you want to do this for an optional or obligatory choice select "Choice Groups"




  • Step 5: Save your menu by clicking on "Save menu"



  • Step 6: In the navigation bar, click on "Version management" and search for the version you've changed with the sold out product(s) or choices. Click on publish.





  • Step 7: Choose the providers where you want to send the changes to, for example "Cashdesk Kassa" and "Cashdesk Web" (this is your own website) and click on Publish.
