 Setting Future Closure Dates via CashDesk

Would you like to set a future date on which your store will be closed, for example during a holiday, vacation, or special occasion?

This can easily be done via the alternative opening hours in CashDesk.

Step 1 – Open CashDesk

Log in to CashDesk and go to the main menu.

Step 2 – Go to “Stores”

Within the menu, click on Stores and then select the store for which you want to adjust the opening hours.

In the store menu you will see several options such as:

  • Website
  • Marketing
  • Settings
  • Opening Hours
  • Connections
  • Invoices
Step 3 – Open “Opening Hours”

Click on Opening Hours.

After that, you will see at the top of the tab:

Alternative Opening Hours

Here you can add exceptions for specific dates.

Step 4 – Add a Future Closure Day

Click at the top right on:

    • Add Vacation

      or
    • Add Alternative Opening Hours

Here you can:

  • Select a future date
  • Set the store as closed
  • Optionally add adjusted opening hours
  • Add a note for internal use

For example:

  • Closed on Christmas Day
  • Vacation period
  • Temporarily closed due to maintenance
Step 5 – Synchronize with the Website

After saving, you must click on:

Synchronize with website(s)

This will immediately update the adjusted opening hours on the connected website(s).
